A series of cartoons based on part life.I found some of the strips express mirth out loud funny - they represent the absurd mode that nigh offices piece of work.
Reading fourth dimension around 45 minutes.
I've had this for years, and worried that it wouldn't be near as funny the 2nd time around. I was incorrect. Basically just a compilation of David Rees spider web comics from years ago, before he went all political with "Get Your War On". If y'all love inane humor, a metric ton of profanity and homemade production values, this is your ticket to an 60 minutes of pure ecstasy. Wish information technology were longer, and some of the strips are pure filler, only when information technology's on there'due south nothing else like it. Some quirky, funny office throwback humour via clipart comics that will actually make you crack upward.
There'south probably a reason why everyone loves this, merely I don't personally get information technology. It's conspicuously near the cultures at some kind of shitty environments, but I approximate I'grand lucky in that I never had to experience it. I don't enjoy whatever of the people, whether it be the crackpot managers with giddy office metrics based on nonreality or the staff who stay at a place they don't enjoy only also sabotage themselves and others at any chance they get.
It reminds me of retail civilization, a mixture of management arrog

It reminds me of retail civilisation, a mixture of direction arrogance/incompetence and employee aloofness.I don't find information technology funny, but depressing.
I may likewise be too much of a software programmer for the random barfage of terminology to anything but weird and nonsensical.
All in all, I'm very happy to not enjoy this book because my life sounds like it would suck if I did. I hope all the best for the people that enjoy this book, I wish I could change the earth so that nobody had to exist in environments like these.
...more This book will appeal most to people who endured the office culture of the 80s and 90s, which entailed much "Squad Edifice" and other motivational bullshit, in addition to the usual administrative redundancies. Phrases similar "Excel the information", "Strategies for Success: Why Don't y'all Have one? Considering you can't file for shit" and "Holy Crap! I've outpaced my own empowerment!" had me laughing out loud, equally did the 'innovations' of i Chucky McScotchers, aka The Greatest Genius of All Time. If y'all like a lot of cursing, rage virtually stupidity, and general absurdity, you will dig it. Much more biting and abrasive than Dilbert, and necessarily and so. At present this fashion has been imitated (the clip fine art, the accompanying sarcastic quotes) only it was so fresh and of its time that it captured the essence of admin bullshit and so and so excellently. Information technology'south similar a PowerPoint presentation on acrid.
...more This book is brilliant. The humor is absurd, and the lo-fi comics seem to fit an underlying message of how in many conjured upwards business relationships, everything kind of blends together into some sort of routine blandness.
I find this book and the other ones similar to information technology (non sure if it is a series or not) to be incredibly inspiring.

...more than This was just $2. And then that makes the joke worth the money. It's just bad clip art with some 8th grade jokes made by attaching speech bubbling and randomly cracking wise. If you lot'd similar a version of Function Infinite on fissure and in print, this might be healthy. Pretty hilarious. I'd space it out a fleck so the (intentional) monotony doesn't drag it downwardly. If y'all'd like a version of Office Space on fissure and in impress, this might be skilful for you. I laughed so hard I cried. Then I got tummy cramps, doubled over, kept express joy-crying, and finally brutal out of my chair.
